The appeal has been fixed for February 12th. Sandeep was released on a bond of 2 million after the High Court reversed the decision of the District Court which ordered him to be kept in jail and remanded. The Supreme Court had earlier set aside the decision of the Patan High Court after the Public Prosecutor's Office appealed.

However, the ban on Sandeep going abroad remains in place. Sandeep won't be permitted to go with the Nepali cricket team to Dubai on April 13 unless the Supreme Court lifts the suspension.
